Voge DS625X Toolkit – The Tools You Actually Need for Long Motorcycle Rides

When you start planning a long-distance motorcycle ride — especially something like Land’s End to John O’Groats — you quickly realise one thing:
You can’t carry everything.
But you also can’t carry nothing.
This video came from a simple question:
What tools do I actually need on the Voge DS625X — not theoretically, but realistically?
Rather than building a generic adventure toolkit, I went back to the owner’s manual and cross-referenced it with:
Common maintenance points
Real-world roadside scenarios
What I can realistically fix at the side of the road
What I definitely can’t
For LEJOG, reliability matters — but so does weight and space. Every extra tool adds bulk. Every unnecessary item adds complication.
The aim wasn’t to build a workshop in a tail bag.
It was to build confidence.
This toolkit now forms the foundation of what I’ll be carrying in May 2026 for the charity ride north.
